Catch the Joy as It Flies

This exhibit brings together a select group of prints created during more than three decades. While they began during my student days, they continued for the following 30 years in my Ashland, Oregon studio while teaching at Southern Oregon University. Thereafter, in the following decades my work as both printmaker and painter explores cultural diversity, rites of passage, myths and traditions, as well as resisitance to political repression in Asia, Latin America, and Africa.

50 framed etchings

Quotes
"Women Artists: Multi-Cultural Visions will become a part of the basic resources that I recommend to graduate and undergraduate students preparing to be arts professionals. Betty LaDuke's research is indispensable to their understanding of (the diversity of artists and art forms that should be appreciated within a pluralistic and equitable society."
--Doug Blandy. Professor of Art Education. University of Oregon.
